Gleaning Duck Pluck

Official Rules and Regulations

The Gleaning Duck Pluck is a rubber duck fundraising event presented by Gleaning For The World, a charitable organization recognized as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit by the Internal Revenue Service.

  1. A minimum of 2,500 rubber ducks will be entered into the Gleaning Duck Pluck.
  2. The odds of winning are determined by the total number of qualified entries received.
  3. All ducks are provided by Gleaning For The World and remain the property of the organization at all times.
  4. Once the ducks are launched, winners will be selected at random through a duck pluck process.
  5. Each duck will display a unique number that corresponds to an online or paper entry form. If multiple ducks are purchased, additional numbers will be assigned accordingly. Prizes will be awarded to the individuals whose names match the numbers of the first qualifying ducks plucked. A complete list of winners and prizes will be posted at www.gleaningduckpluck.com.
  6. All prize winners must be 18 years of age or older. If the winner is under 18, a parent or legal guardian must accept the prize on their behalf.
  7. Prizes are not redeemable for cash or substitutions. Any taxes, fees, or income obligations associated with prizes are the sole responsibility of the winner.
  8. Ducks may be purchased for $10 per duck online at www.gleaningduckpluck.com.
  9. No purchase is necessary to enter. While free entries are not encouraged as they detract from the fundraising purpose of the event, individuals may request one complimentary entry by submitting a written request prior to June 1st to:
